Nice place to spend time in Achill Island. Restaurant was great and always full booked. We get good information about the filming locations of Sailor my love and The Banshees of Inisherin -movies. Good service and friendly staff!

The cosiness of the property. Very nostalgic 90's feel, in a good way. Host Catherine was lovely and at hand whenever I had a question. The location was great. Ample parking. Warm house. Amazing shower. Beautiful scones. Cosy beds and very well equipped.

The house was just perfect. It has everything you might need. Val gave us a very extensive introduction of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped. The central heating ist working very good and makes the house warm and cosy. There is also an open fireplace. There is only one bedroom upstairs, but it is very spacious with three beds for up to 5 people plus another double bed on the ground floor.

Kevin and Maureen were exceptional hosts they made sure everything was set up for us and checked in with us via text to make sure everything was good. The house is ideally located close to the beach. Every room was very clean. All modern appliances in the kitchen in case you needed to cook. My favourite feature was in the cosy living room. There was a lovely seat where you could look out to the sea. The beds were very comfy with electric blankets. Our dogs had great space in the kitchen. I'm already looking forward to a return trip!!

There is nothing negative to say about this property. The owner was excellent at communicating with us. He made recommendations about stuff to do in Achill. We had the number of the caretaker also. It is so close to the beach, shop and a bar if you want to go for a drink. The beach across the road is stunning and not crowded. The cottage itself is just stunning- beautifully laid out with all equipment, utensils etc required for complete self catering. The house is actually bigger than the impression given in the photos. Loved the half door as you could keep the top open and watch the world go by. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff , a relaxed atmosphere everywhere in the lodge and great food. I had breakfast and an evening meal there both of which were were ample portions and delicious. François the owner runs a professional and at the same time friendly lodge at Pure Magic . I'd stay there again , and can only recommend it to everyone.
