We booked 3 days at Ameya and added an extra one. Amazing garden, top notch bungalow and great swimming pool overviewing the lake. 4 times upclass dinner served at our own bungalow and we once took the opportunity to join the chef delivering his masterpieces. Everything perfect because of Anish (always ready to explain Indian history and Kerala culture) and his staff constantly running the extra mile and then doing one more. Highly recommended!

After 5 weeks in India we hit upon this gem of a Homestay. Wonderfully welcoming family to whom nothing was too much trouble, spotless rooms, great shower, stunning location right on the beach and a short tuk tuk ride to town and river cruises. Thoroughly recommended.

Very calm and serene location. Perfect place for a get away. The best part was the pettable and friendly dogs around and the sound of nature. While the property is not a luxurious one, it still is a home away from home with all the facilities and a steal deal for the rate..The best part is Swiggy delivers to this place despite being a place secluded from all the commotions. Manu was exceptionally helpful in arranging houseboat trips and visits to local places. I'd strongly recommend this place as a spot for workation. Rating 4.75/5
