Beach Hotels in Trivandrum

If you want somewhere near the airport AND the beach, this is it. Edwin and his lovely wife Ashley and their family will make you feel most welcome. They give you privacy and it has all the facilities you need including, plunge pool which we used every day, washing machine,fridge, kitchen equipment, smart TV, great aircon and fans, hot water, etc. Edwin will organise trips for you and he organised our 0130 transport to the airport. It is a calmer area away from the main city and within about 1km from the airport. We had a delicious Indian breakfast but there are other options if you prefer. We had a great time here.

The place is very beautiful and calm. The manager is very friendly. My bag has been delayed at the airport and the owner took everything in charge to help me retrieve it, thanks again! I highly recommend the lobster restaurant neighboring the beach house.

Everything is good ,safe place for family and couples

Sky Palace is a fantastic place to stay. Both Wilfred and Christopher, and all of the other guys, who worked there were great. They all went out their way to make us feel at home and to help us with our every need. We were travelling with our two-year-old son. This can sometimes be challenging, but Wilfred and Christopher made sure that it was as easy as possible, they were both great with him. It is now a week later and our son is still asking about where Christopher is and if we can go and see him. If you want to travel to see local sights or travel a bit further; for example to Kanyakumari they will be able to organise a car at a very good price with a driver, who is friendly, safe and helpful. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, Aircon that worked very well keeping the room cool when needed and a large bathroom. We didn’t have any problems with power cuts that sometimes are an issue in other hotels. The seating area outside the room with a small table was perfect for us to relax at when our son was asleep, sometimes eat food at, or to just discuss our plans for the next day. They took care of all our laundry and provided teas, coffee or food when we wanted it. Christopher drove us to all local areas in their Tuktuk at a very cheap prices, so we didn’t have to worry about what we were paying or walking down to the Tuktuk car park. He also recommended a fantastic local restaurant where you can eat Keralan Thali directly off the banana leaf which was some of the best food we have eaten in India at the lowest prices. The hotel is less than a minute walk to the beach and but a few moments from many good quality, restaurants and shops. When you want to get away from the commercial nature of the beachfront. You only have to walk a few minutes to the next set of beachs which have street food shacks . The price of the hotel is very competitive.

1. Perfect Location with sea view and access to private beach. 2. The staff is very co-operative and helpful. 3. The restaurants are at the distance of 15 to 20 minutes but are worth it. 4. To visit the beach I would say that go in the morning as there won't be any rush or crowd at that time before 10. 5. The main thing I liked about this property was they didn't ask for any advance payment before we reach there. 6. They also arranged vehicle for us if you need any you can ask them for so.(charges applicable separately)
