The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing. The food is some of the best Washoku I have had in a long long time. The room had a massive double king bed and a beautiful view of the ocean. The private onsen was also so amazing. Apparently, one of the taxi drivers my partner and I took mentioned that Emperor Hirohito back in Showa 1954 had apparently stayed at this location many years ago. That should pretty much describe how amazing this place is.

This was one of the cutest places we stayed in, in all of Japan. The flat is wonderfully designed, clean, the view is gorgeous (you can easily nip out for a walk ok the beach in the morning), the place is calm, there is enough space (we travelled with two small kids). The coffee to selfgrind was a lovely add-on. The flat is on top of the cafe/ shop, also run by the owners, and the food was delicious. There are other food places in the area (sushi just next door was very good), and a 7/11 just across the street. It is a little out of the centre but there is a bus literally 2 minutes away which takes you to the mainstation in 5 minutes - so totally worth it. We had a really lovely stay! Easy check in and check out.

everything! the house was located right by the beach and the entire house was comfortably designed for modern comfort. there was everything you need to live there. we had a good time on the balcony looking at the sunsets. the rooms were really comfortable and en-suite. it was not in the main town but that was part of the reason why we liked it. there’s a minimart just 5min walk away if you needed any last min supplies.

Furnishings and decor are a little dated, but the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. They upgraded me to a sea-view room for free - what a wonderful location, with views over the sea to Honshu. I worked remotely while there, the wifi was fast and reliable. It's around 10 mins walk from the nearest tram stop, and there's a great Italian restaurant 2 mins down the road. Also worth visiting Bop Jazz Bar, near the tram stop, for some impeccable jazz and good coffee.
