Very clean, quiet location and lovely staff who can help you anyway. Has nice kitchen facilities for cooking and only 2 dorm rooms so never overcrowded. Befriend a local so you can get tuk tuk easy, pick me often cancel for this area.

A garden with a sea view is truly stunning. It offers a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast are excellent. The hosts are kind and organized a fantastic boat trip to the lagoon for us. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The villa and rooms are very clean. The pool area is very relaxing and super clean, which you dont always see in the areas hotels. Breakfast is great and big! A bit outside Galle center but easy and cheap to move around with tuktuk. Location is nice because there is no big streets nearby so its quiet and peaceful.

We had a really wonderful stay at Silver Rail. The room was very big and very comfortable. The family who runs it was so welcoming, they offered us tea and a delicious breakfast. They even showed us how to make the pancakes we loved so that we can try to make them at home later 😋The location was good, we could walk to the Fort everyday. The house was exactly like on the photos and very very clean! The housekeeping was really friendly and thorough. The A/C was very modern and worked really well. Also the kitchen was quite good equipped.

It was very well located, close to a big store and to surf schools. Hansi was so kind and helpful, she also took me to around for one night. The whole place is really big and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and clean. If it wasn’t too hot, I’d have stayed for longer, I’ve booked for 19 nights there but the hotness was unbearable, the hostel kindly reimbursed the 17 nights, such a relief for me. I’d suggest to go there during high season because I was there in mid August and no one was there, it might feel lonely.
