An amazing place to stay, especially if you're traveling alone, on a budget, and don't need a hotel with beach club access. The hotel is just a 7-minute walk from one of the best public beaches on the island—Pereybere. It's also a great spot to work on your computer and meet new people.

It was definitely more luxurious than what we expected. We liked everything about the apartment. All needs were catered for, and the service was exceptional 👌 and everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially with all the useful telephone numbers for the different facilities. Even the little touches like the Christmas tree 🎄 were greatly appreciated.

The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect getaway, and we truly enjoyed every moment. 🌿☀️ The host was fantastic—very responsive and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. Finished a two-week trip in Mauritius and found time to write impressions of staying in the apartments of hospitable Ajay - the owner of the apartments. On arrival at the place in a rented car, met his sister and her husband. We were immediately solved the issue of parking in the yard. All the photos of the apartment on bunking for two people are real. Everything is clean. They brought me a hair dryer and iron with ironing board when I asked. We did not have a washing machine in the apartment, but everything was solved by asking Adjaya for laundry. The linen is changed once a week. Maybe more often you can, but the first 8-9 days we were constantly leaving to explore the island, and without us in the apartments did not go in. To the beach Perebier and public transportation stop - 5 minutes walk. From the bus stop you can go to Super U supermarket or walk to Wiener's for about 10-15 minutes. We had 2 balconies in the apartment - 1 overlooking the roof of the neighboring villa (where we dried clothes), and from the other balcony a view of the neighborhood and the yard of the neighboring villa. It was nice to wake up to birdsong in the morning or sometimes sit in the evening and listen to the sound of the rain or watch the sunset and stars. Also Ajay helped us with a cab when we flew back. We loved it, hopefully there will be a new opportunity to fly to Mauritius and will come back again. If there is anyone who is afraid to travel on their own, also because of the language barrier, no need to worry. Ajay speaks French, English and Hindi (if I call the language of Hindus correctly), and if our vocabulary was not enough, the translator in your phone will help you. Ajay, thank you again for everything.

We liked everything about this place. It really is lovely. An early morning swim in the pool before breakfast & watching the birds in the garden. The colours are incredible. It's a great place to just sit around & have a light lunch. Nothing was too much trouble for Gary. He's a friendly man who couldn't do enough to my our stay problem free. I highly recommend 'La Salida House'.

We stayed in January 2025, and the accommodation was perfect for our vacation. • There is plenty of space. • Everything needed for cooking is provided. • The air conditioning in both bedrooms is sufficient to cool the apartment (we had 30°C every day). • The terrace is perfect for relaxing after a long day. • There is ample parking space. • The location is excellent. You can reach the beautiful Pereybere beach and a few restaurants within 4 minutes. I personally cannot confirm any negative comments about smells in the stairwell. It smells a bit like cleaning products, which I actually find positive. The host is a 10/10. He was extremely helpful and caring ❤️

Very pleasant and quiet accommodation in a wonderful garden with a swimming pool. The accommodation was very clean and excellently equipped. The hosts are very nice and friendly. Pereybere beach 10 minutes by pleasant walk. Supermarket near the beach. Great Mont Choisy beach by bus, contractor bus 10 minutes! We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.

The owner, Kadil, was so helpful and accommodating. I originally booked the apartment on the first floor, but when he saw that I had hurt my knee, he kindly offered for us to move to the ground floor apartment, which was wonderful.
