I am a huge fan of capsule hotels and this one didn't disappoint! My capsule was very cozy: comfortable bedding, window could be opened, electricity plugs, light could be dimmed. It was quiet when I stayed there. The bathroom has an incinerator toilet with great explanations and descriptions, so it was easy to use for me. There is no shower in the hotel, one can shower at a nearby camping ground. The owners provide all the important information and reply quickly. The location is great, the supermarket is very close as well as several beaches - in general, Sommaroy is a super beautiful island and definitely worth a visit!

Geir - the host - lives next door so was able to meet us on arrival (even though it was very late as our flight was 3 hours delayed). He was helpful and had many activity ideas throughout our stay. The wi-fi was fast, the kitchen was well appointed and the apartment was very warm and cosy in the middle of the Arctic winter.

The stay at the House of Aurora I was just perfect. Marcin was a wonderful host. He gave us many usefull informations about the area. The apartment has everything you need. It's also so cozy. You feel like home. The nature at Ersfjord is stunning. We saw eagles, dolphins, otters and many other birds at the Fjord. We also had the luck to see the Aurora right from the window of the apartment one night. All in all we had a awesome stay without any negative experiences. We already plan to come back in summer to explore the area a bit more.
