I paid a bit more than I usually do for a room and I’m glad I did. The room was spacious, clean, had all the facilities we needed…and it was a great view of the water and some good people watching. The location was great, a short walk to everything and not far from Waitangi. The lady who greeted me at reception was lovely and helpful. Would stay here again.

November 2024 - We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment was simply perfect: clean, comfortable, warm, and extremely functional. The view was truly enchanting; we couldn’t have asked for better! We were welcomed by Sopha and her father Théo, exceptionally kind hosts. This is a very amazing experience! The house is very large, the facilities are also great, and the courtyard is beautiful. We met the hosts, who were very friendly and enthusiastic.They even made dumplings for us to celebrate Chinese New Year. This makes us feel very warm. Good location, close to the wharf, and a very nice owner who gave us good recommendations of things to do/places to eat. Babybed was also very comfortable for our baby.

Incredible location and super friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Balcony/Terrace with a really nice view of the waterfall and lake. Kayaks were available free of charge and staff at reception gave wonderful tips for local sightseeing. Showers also had the highest water pressure I had yet to experience - very comfortable!

Located opposite Ti Beach, Bay Sands Seafront Studios is just 600 metres from the centre of Paihia.

The manager Jim waited up until I arrived - slightly after normal check in. The room was great. The bed was comfy. The location was excellent.
