We had a lovely time at Rancho Estero. We stayed in one of the cabins/huts without private bathroom. The shared bathrooms are kept clean at all times. The property itself is beautiful and has an outside kitchen as well as lots of hammocks in the shade. You can easily arrange trips to Coiba via the hosts- definitely recommend this trip as it was organised so well. We extended our stay since we enjoyed Santa Catalina and Ranchero Estero so much.

Super location right by the water while close to shopping and restaurants. The staff were great and everything could be arranged right from the hostel (kayak rental, Coiba snorkeling tour, surfing lessons). A special thanks to Amir for being an amazing snorkeling guide and surf instructor :-) The whole hostel area was really nice and cozy with a good atmosphere and great views of the sea and Isla Catalina. Kitchen worked well as well. Room and hostel very clean.

The camp exceeded our expectations by far. Everything was very convenient, clean, beautiful and special. You can pay three dollars for a safe parking spot if you do not want to cross the river by car or just leave it for free at the side of the road. During the dry season, the river is not deep and you can easily carry your luggage over. There is a cosy bar and a great restaurant (food was delicious). Rooms were cleaned daily what we appreciated very much. You can also have dinner in town. We walked there twice as 20minutes are the perfect time to digest your meal ;-). The receptionist provided helpful information and was very kind, also all the other staff at the restaurant and bar. Sunrise and sunset were amazing to watch from the beach and it is totally safe to swim there. We did a snorkeling tour and scuba diving and swam with whale sharks, mantas, white tip riff sharks and turtles. Amazing!

The location is a bit remote but it was so gorgeous. Right next to the ocean and the pool and palmtrees really make it look like paradise. The owner and staff where super friendly and helpful!

I got a free upgrade to the Upper Level Suite. The view was absolutely amazing! The king bed was super comfortable, the room was clean, and the location was perfect for relaxing. The rooms are simple, but very clean and have everything you need. I had a great stay and would definitely come back.
