Beach Hotels in El Nido

Everything about Hotel El Nido was amazing, however the one person who truly made our trip awesome and will forever be in our thoughts due to his efficiency, kind demeanour and overall great person will be Mr. Tan. From the time we met him at the airport to the time we departed , Mr Tan was amazing. During our trip he recommended some beautiful beaches to visit as well as other tourist attractions but what amazed me the most, was that he remembered our whole groups names from the time he met us. Wish there were more people like Mr. Tan in the service industry.

The hotel is beautiful, modern, well decorated, and very confortable. I had the best sleep ever, every night. There is a nice swimming pool, and the restaurant has a varied menu and good food. They also have a shuttle to take us to their peaceful and beautiful private Papaya beach. The travel agency they work with for the tours is excellent. Its location is ideal, because a 2 minute walk from the main street, and yet not noisy. I could say many more things about the hotel, but their highlight is definitely their outstanding service! Their staff is attentive, the kindest I ever met, and give us personalized care. They are amazing, always smiling and happy. They greet us by our first name every time we arrive at the reception. A special thanks to the reception staff Val, CJay, Zel, Julie and Kim and Sharmaine and Ken at the restaurant. I had more contact with them, but all the Funny Lion team, at any place or any time of the day , were super kind and nice. I highly recommend it, and would definitely stay here again if I came back to El Nido.

What an amazing stay at Happiness Hostel! We loved everything about this place ❤️ Firstly the location is perfect, right along the beach and main street with lots of restaurants to choose from. The common area provided a great place to chill both inside on the wicker chairs or bean bags and out on the balcony with the swings (my favourite looking out onto the beach!). Free water and tea/coffee was available all day as well as complimentary rolls and bananas from 7am each morning, which is a lovely touch. The bedrooms are super clean and cosy. The layout of the bunks is the best we've seen during our 5 months travelling SEA as there's lots of storage inside the bunk for your belongings and also under the bed. The sliding doors also provide privacy but because of the way they are built they still allow for ventilation from the AC to keep you cool. The beds were comfortable and surprisingly large for a single bed. The bathrooms were always spotlessly clean. The showers were hot and had a place for you to hang your towel/clothes/toiletries to ensure they did not get wet. Last but not least, the staff are incredible. They really do make you feel so welcome and at home. We received lots of advice and help from them between retrieving a SIM card that had fallen on the roof, booking tours and printing tickets for the ferry. We especially want to mention Ann, who was a massive help to us and was an absolute superstar! 🌟 She always offered a friendly hello and a chat and remembered small details about each guest which really added to that sense of feeling at home. We cannot recommend staying in Happiness Hostel enough, it really was a home away from home and we're so sad we could not stay longer!

We loved it so much, that we stayed on the island more just to stay one more night here😍🩵Amazing paradise with super kind owners and special thanks to Grace who was really helpful and super nice! ❤️🩵I will be back for sure to enjoy this remote paradise more! Oh, and also want to mention that the boatmans were super hepful, they drove us around a couple of times!🩵

Most wonderful hosts who make every minute of your stay special. Sharmaine and TJ went out of their way to help with every request making our stay at Domes&Dreams amazing. The domes are very comfortable and offer everything you might need from private bathroom, AC, wifi, safe, small fridge and even TV. They are spotlessly clean, made up every day, with change of towels and bedding. You even have bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast are lovely and you also have the possibility to order dinners cooked on site by TJ, super delicious. We stayed over the period of Christmas and received some local Filipino dishes, a bottle of wine and a card with Christmas wishes. I cannot recommend this place enough! Just perfect place. All you need is there, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the beach is wonderful!
