Beach Hotels in Chaweng

My son and I spent 2 wonderful nights at Sala Samui Chaweng. From the selection of our preferred pillows, hand soap and lotion during check in, to addressing our needs during our stay, we experienced 5-star thai hospitality from all the staff we met during our stay. Cleaning was done daily and the bed was really comfortable for a good night's rest. Walking distance to the beach with free kayaks and SUP available for hotel guests. My son particularly enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast was a mix of ala carte and buffet style that we enjoyed. The resort was within 15mins walk to Central Samui and 10 mins drive to the airport.

The people working there are so kind.Breakfast is repetitive but good nevertheless. Location is great, it's in a quiet part of Chaweng, but only 5 min drive by scooter to get to the fun and loud part of Chaweng.

Lovely staff, close to the beach, clean and tidy

The beach was amazing AND calm, we got a nice welcome for our honeymoon, the staff is super friendly, the manager, the cocktails were delicious AANND the food WOW best Tom Ka Ga I've had in my life. The best thing was that there were always enough beach chairs. We always had problems in other hotels because some people don't realize it's extremely rude to try to "reserve" your chair with a towel and be gone for hours without letting other people use the chairs.

Amazing location on the beach very restful

We have travelled in Thailand for 2 weeks in total, going from the South to the North and then back to the South (hence a lot of travel time) and therefore we decided to end our holidays with a relaxing 4 day-stay in Koh Samui. Even though our stay was quite short, it was long enough for us to feel very sad when leaving this beautiful place behind! First of all, the hotel is perfectly situated at Chaweng beach with a shopping center and plenty of night bars and other activities in the direct surroundings. We were a bit afraid that there might be too much noise but the hotel itself is very quiet and more like a boutique hotel, with no more than +/- 30 rooms, and you’re definitely not bothered by the night clubs in the neighbourhood. Whether you want to party all night long or prefer to chill and enjoy the rest, here you have the best of both worlds! The rooms were very spacious and designed in a very cozy Thai style, and the pathway to the bar, restaurant and beautiful beach felt like wandering through the streets of a cozy small village. The food was very lovely as well: we were spoiled with a delicious breakfast buffet each morning with a good mix of Thai and Mediterranean specialities, and eggs the way you like them. We had dinner 2 times in the hotel, and don’t regret that we didn’t go for street food instead. Nothing can beat a cozy dinner date on the beach, with excellent service by the team, just the right background music and delicious dishes. What we appreciated the most during our stay, however, was the kindness, hospitality and positivity of the people working there. They do so much more than just giving their guests a memorable stay! Saying goodbye to this amazing team was very hard. I don’t remember when I last shed a tear when leaving a hotel, but here it got the best of me!

Stunning property from all angles.

I cannot rate this hostel highly enough! It is simply the BEST in Koh Samui. The staff, Wan & Piak, went above and beyond everyday during our stay, from helping us finding a rental scooter place, to asking how our day was, and overall just being such lovely helpful people, they definitely made our stay feel like home ( the fluffy blankets were a bonus too!!). All of the facilities were cleaned every single day, the rooms smelt amazing, and the location itself was very good! We felt so sad to leave here- we absolutely loved it, and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Koh Samui! ❤️
