Free WiFi access is provided. The property and communal areas are stunning! The room was lovely and clean and had all the usual facilities. We enjoyed spending time in the spa and you can also have lunch/afternoon tea in the spa. All the staff were exceptionally attentive and incredibly friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is fabulous. We went on the boat to see the sealions and penguins which was amazing, well worth the money as you are on a little boat as appose to a ferry. We got very close to both animals and saw an enormous star fish! Our guide Lucas was exceptional and was very generous us telling us a ton of history about Ushuaia. The cost of the hotel is high but it was worth it for the views and the communal areas and service received.

Our host Diego made sure it was heated once we arrived and supplied us with fire wood for the fireplace to use at night.

She could help us with anything we asked for, immediately. The house is well equipped, newly refurbished, spacious and very confortable. Internet connection was very good. We did not miss anything.

De la Costa II Ushuaia, a property with barbecue facilities, is located in Ushuaia, 22 km from Tierra del Fuego National Park, 25 km from Castor Hill Ski Center, as well as 1.3 km from Maritime Penal and Antarctica Museum. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 3.9 km from Encerrada Bay. This was the best private property that we have ever stayed at. The position of the apartment at the head of the Beagle channel provided some excellent sunrises and pleasant views out to sea. It is located out of town ( a pleasant 20-minute walk) or a quick Uber ( really cheap) The host was perfect in every way. We had several flight changes for our arrival, but he was flexible to our requirements ( and when we did eventually arrive, he came out of the gym to meet us) On our arrival, we asked about exchanging some money. He asked how much, got his phone out, and showed me the exchange rate, and it was there on the table the following day. The apartment has everything you could ask for. The water pressure and temperature were superb, and it was really nice to have a full sized bath. We were picking up a cruise from Ushuaia, and on our day of departure, he even came and picked us up to take us to our check-in point. Finally, he gifted us a book of his art, which was a really nice touch. We would not hesitate in using this property again if we ever returned to Ushuaia. Be adventurous instead of being in a hotel with lots of other people potentially staring at a brick wall out of your window. You will not be disappointed. Very easy ti get to from the airport, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. A very enjoyable stay and a lovely breakfast & chat with the other guests in the morning. We were even allowed to leave our luggage there for the day rather than take it with us into city centre - very kind of the host.
