CABN is a very special place! We absolutely loved our two-night stay. The location is quiet and a bit remote, which we loved. There are only five or six cabins on the property, and they are very spread out, so you have a lot of privacy. The views are amazing, the wildlife plentiful, and the cabin is very well thought out with lovely touches. We made sure to come back to the cabin well before sunset after exploring the amazing island, just to make sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the cabin, the surroundings, and once the sun started getting lower on the horizon, take in the views from the deck with the many kangaroos and wallabies who came right around the cabin. We also absolutely loved having the sauna with the picture window, and used it both nights. And, the night sky is truly amazing with absolutely no light pollution. All in all, a very special and memorable stay. Highly recommended.

Die Unterkunft Jalilla Village ist in Kingscote gelegen und bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit kostenlosem WLAN einer Klimaanlage und Zugang zu einem Garten mit einem Grill. Es war einer der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir in Australien hatten. Das schöne, moderne Haus war wunderschön in der Natur und abends haben wir Kängurus gesehen.

Die Unterkunft Inna Nutshell ist in Kingscote gelegen und bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit kostenlosem WLAN einer Klimaanlage und Zugang zu einem Garten mit einem Grill. Fantastic location, right in the heart of town; minutes from restaurants and the wonderful salt water pool (great for an early morning dip). Inna Nutshell is extremely well equipped, but as the host says lacks views, but who cares when the accommodation is so lovely and comfortable - bedrooms, kitchen, TV, coffee machine etc etc. Really clean too. Would recommend without doubt.

We loved staying at Emu Bay Cabins. At first, we were concerned as the cabin seemed so small, but there is a very good use of space and we managed to live there for 5 evenings comfortably without feeling too cramped. We really enjoyed the view and if the weather had been better we would have loved eating on the terrace. A highlight was to observe the kangaroos and the bird life from the terrace. The kitchen is small but well equipped and I was able to cook everything I wanted to. I liked being able to walk down the hill to the beach, rather than needing to get the car out. The owner/manager popped around to see us a few times and was very friendly and helpful.

Das Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island ist ein luxuriöser Rückzugsort nur für Erwachsene (12+ Jahre). Das Zimmer hatte einen traumhaften Blick und das Frühstück hat für einen Europäer keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Besonders sind die vielen Kängurus, die man wirklich aus der Nähe beobachten kann - aber natürlich nicht anfassen soll ;-)

Die in der Region Känguru-Insel in Stokes Bay gelegene Unterkunft Waves & Wildlife Cottages Kangaroo Island bietet einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt wunderbar! Sollte es mich nochmal nach Kangaroo Island verschlagen, würde ich dort wieder übernachten. Die kleinen Häuser sind liebevoll eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet (Bad, Küche, Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer). Es war sehr geräumig und die Terrasse lädt zum verweilen ein, während man die Kangaroos auf der Weide beobachten kann. Der Ausblick über die Stokes Bay ist traumhaft! Ich kann einen Aufenthalt bei Katja und Paul wärmstens empfehlen!

We stayed for two nights at the Owl House on the Corner and found it to be a true little gem. Thank you for opening your home to guests — it truly feels like a home away from home. Our son especially loved the space and facilities. It was a wonderful place to return to and relax after a full day of sightseeing. The accommodation was cosy, clean, and welcoming, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay.
