I started playing golf at The Dunes in 2007 on my first trip to Australia and have regularly played there on many trips. The stylish rooms offer good space and have modern shower and plumbing fixtures. The nearby clubhouse offers a menu with good breakfast and lunch. Golf tee times can be reserved, unless the stay is booked at times when course is closed to public play, such as when large multiday tournaments are held. I've found it possible on most trips to the area to get tee times at The Dunes. I usually stay at a small cottage nearby but this time it was unavailable part of my stay. I would consider the Links Lodge at The Dunes for another stay on future visits. There are in room safes offer an extra layer of security for those concerned about safeguarding travel documents. The lodging is fairly new and opened in the last few years. It is separated from the main clubhouse by a short distance and each unit has parking which is separate from common parking areas. My room was a two minute walk to the restaurant and clubhouse.

Coastal Waters is a 20-minute drive to the Nyerimilang Heritage Park and the Griffiths Sea Shell Museum. The Buchan Caves are a 40-minute drive away. The rooms were immaculate; clean; and fully appointed with cookies, coffee, mints, tea, great shower, great TV (watched Aussie Open🎾🎾🇻🇬), sofa, great bed, seating outside, great parking, very short walk to town and restaurants. Michael and Tracey were fantastic. We stayed an extra night and will return. Great place and hosts. Loved it!👊

Coastal Motel is ideally located in the heart of Apollo Bay, along the famous Great Ocean Road. It offers barbecue facilities, free on-site parking, and rooms with a kitchenette. Free Wi-Fi is available. The place was sparkling clean. We loved the spacious bathroom with rain shower.

Just opposite the Apollo Bay Beach, Waterfront Motor Inn offers a variety of accommodation in a lovely garden setting. Guests enjoy free WiFi and some rooms offer ocean views.

Located on the Great Ocean Road, Apollo Bay Waterfront Motor Inn is a 15-minute drive from Great Otway National Park. The famous Twelve Apostles are a 1-hour drive away. Local shops, cafes and restaurants and the visitor information centre are within walking distance. The accommodation was exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Hot water and water pressure is good. AC worked well as heater. Even the soaps and shampoos were great quality stuff made in NZ.

The world famous Twelve Apostles are only 8 minutes’ drive from Motel Portside. Loch Ard Gorge is a 5-minute drive and 12 Apostles Visitor Information Centre is just 300 metres away. Port Campbell Beach is only 500 metres away. The room is big and has everything you need. Comfy bed. Nothing to complain

Seacombe House Motor Inn Port Fairy is 5 minutes from the historic Port Fairy Wharf and 10 minutes from the area's beaches. You will find local shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep. Our stay was outstanding can’t say enough good things about this place. I would recommend it to anyone.
