We had a late check in, so we had to do a self check in in this case, which was super simple as we got clear instructions. The room was super clean and comfy. Nice breakfast. Will definitely stay there in the future.

This classic Italianate villa was really beautifully restored, very comfortable and with excellent amenities. The modern kitchen was very useful - apparently shared but we saw no one else! Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!

Location excellent, right around the corner from the lake.

Die in Ascona gelegene Unterkunft B&Borgo ist 1,5 km von Golfclub Patriziale Ascona und 3,1 km von Piazza Grande Locarno entfernt. The design of the place was very chic. located very centrally, it was easy to walk around. the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was also delicious cured meats, cheeses, pastries, and the honey was particularly exceptional.

Die Unterkunft Hotel Villa Emden bietet einen Garten, einen eigenen Strandbereich, eine Terrasse und ein Restaurant in Brissago. Photos and words cannot do this wonderful place justice. The location is simply breathtaking and once the last ferry leaves around 5:30pm you have the entire island to yourself with the other few hotel guests (10 rooms in total). There are picturesque viewpoints all around the island in the various areas of the botanical garden, where the vegetation is assembled by world region. The restaurant, while expensive, is worth every penny. Certainly one of the best dining experiences we have ever had - an intimate, quiet, superbly delicious meal looking out over the lake to the lovely town of Ascona under the kind and watchful eye of the restaurant manager who handles all table duties alone.
