Everything was constantly kept clean and tidy. Rooms were in great shape with modern equipment, comfortable and warm. The kitchen is spacious and provides plenty of everything for cooking and food storage. There is also a coffee machine and free tea. Best of all is the host who was super friendly and helpful. He provided us with great recommendations for daily trips around the island, what to visit, how to get there, popular highlights and germs off the beaten track. His effort was just amazing. We enjoyed our stay here very much. During 8 months of travels this was one of the best hostels we stayed at, and we would come back to the place at any time.

Breakfast was prepared always just before we came down . We were always asked what time we wanted to have breakfast. We stayed over Newyear's eve and New years day. And they arranged for a delicious meals to be brought to the lodge for us during a time many restaurants were closed. Parking was in a gated area and very secure. they have cat and dogs that were very friendly, but were kept outside our entire stay. The owners kept in contact with us prior to arriving. I would go back here anytime!

Great views of the bay. Enjoyed viewing the birds and the bay upon waking each morning. Great hot water shower without waiting for water to heat up. Need a car to get to this location but it is only a short drive to Castro. Nice and quiet area. Would have stayed here longer had my itinerary allowed.

Weniger als 2,9 km von Strand Playa Sabanilla und 20 km von Kirche Nuestra Señora de los Dolores entfernt in Castro gelegen, bietet die Unterkunft Casa Chiloe hostel Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit... Das Haus hat eine wirklich gute Lage fast am Ende einer Sackgasse direkt am Meer. Unser Zimmer hatte alles, was man braucht, das Bett war groß und bequem und der Blick direkt auf‘s Wasser. Gute Restaurants sind gleich um die Ecke. Gabriel und seine Tochter sind wirklich herzlich, witzig, offen und unkompliziert, so dass man sich gleich willkommen fühlt. Zwei tolle und interessante Menschen. Insgesamt eine schöne Unterkunft und eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung. Sollte es uns wieder auf die Insel verschlagen, kommen wir wieder. Vielen Dank!
