Everything was more than perfect: the location is magical, overlooking the sea and close to the first moai, just a few minutes' walk from the village center; the welcome is extremely warm and smiling; the room is spacious, very clean and well thought out; the staff is always attentive and very attentive; the breakfast is really delicious, fresh, copious and changes every morning. It was an idyllic stay, and it's clear that Takarua Lodge is one of the best places to stay on the island. For us, it's definitely the one we'd recommend with our eyes closed!

We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!
