WiFi, electricity and water worked perfectly. I loved the nearly private beach, it’s a calm beach, ideal for relaxing, still you can walk along the beach. Food and drinks in the hotel are super delicious and prices are fair! It‘s easy to reach by boat! The place has a new owner, so you should check only newer reviews :) Canilo, Breiner, Neider, the cooking ladies are super friendly and helpful!

The accommodation offers room service, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. Our stay at Hotel Calamari Baru was so relaxing! We had one of the ocean view rooms, and it was perfect to relax. We loved hearing the sound of the waves as we slept. Christian helped us with our bags when we arrived later in the evening. The food and service at the restaurant were great and made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was also included in the stay. The reception staff helped us book our boat trip back to Cartagena which was helpful! We would definitely recommend this hotel. It was one of the better looking accomodations on the strip.

The food selection is excellent, with a 3-course meal offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The presence of animals and the surrounding nature adds a wonderful touch to the overall experience. There are always very small groups of people, and at times it feels like you have the island all to yourself. The boat ride was conducted with great professionalism and care, which I deeply appreciated, especially as I was traveling with my senior parents. This level of responsibility is rare, based on my past experiences visiting neighboring islands and resorts. But above all, the customer service was OUTSTANDING . GRACIAS to every crew member, and a special shout out to Jeison, he went above and beyond to help us celebrate my husband’s birthday.
