This is an absolutely beautiful location in a quiet part of Cahuita. We were looking forward to be surrounded by nature and we loved every minute of it. The gorgeous garden, our extremely knowledgeable host (seriously, let him guide you!), waking up to birds singing and the baboons howling. Definitely our favourite spot in Costa Rica. I would give this guesthouse 7 stars if that were possible. The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. The grounds are a tropical paradise full of birds, butterflies & other wildlife. The rooms are clean & comfortable surrounded by the beautiful gardens.

Cahuita Inn is an oasis on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Exceptional value for money, standing out head and shoulders above anything else we found in Costa Rica in this mid range price bracket. Contemporary comfort, style, security, wonderful service, delicious food, calm atmosphere, beautiful hammock strewn palm grove right on the ocean, with waves rolling in on your doorstep. Very nice bungalow with full Equipment kitchen and big bathroom. Silent place and a nice garden where you can see different kinds of animal in the morning when you have breakfast on the terrace. The owner life there and when you need anything the help you with all. It Was one of the best place in CR where we stay. Chauita is a traditionell place and ypu have nice Restaurants next to the bungalow orjust 15min the walk to the Center. Puerto Viejo is much expensive and to bussy with a lot of people. Good for visit for one day.
