The words are not enough to describe how nice it was. I have been treated like a queen during all my stay. Therefore I initially booked for 2 days but decided to stay for a week. I am so grateful to Mr Saad who did all his best to make my stay an amazing one. He took care of any single demand meticulously. Head chef’s mushroom risotto was delightfully tasty, humus is another super taste to try. All waiters were friendly and respectful, Assad, Romany, Nader, Mohammed and Ali are few names that I could remember with their exceptional services besides many others. The room was so clean, house keeping surprised me with different animal figures every day. Lisa and Leo from the animation team did their best me to participate at the events. The clientele of the hotel is silent and respectful to each other which I think is one of the most important things during one’s stay. The beach is amazing, water is crystal clear with not many fish, just ideal for someone with galeophobia like me. Thank you all for everything, I will come back at the very first occasion.

New Marina is 49 KM from JAZ Soma Beach, while Giftun Island is 46 km away. The nearest airport is Hurghada International Airport, 45KM from the hotel. All in all we are very satisfied with our stay. Hotel has beautiful territory, it’s all green and you can see that every corner gets attention from gardeners. There are enough place for evening promenade. The beach is not very big, so it’s better to come before 11am, but you have enough sunbeds near the pool if any. Beach is clean, has all facilities. Water is super clean and clear. Service is very good. In restaurants and at the beach you always get attention and can get any drinks or help you need. Food is very good. There are 2 a la cart restaurants (we didn’t try it), and 2 big restaurants - one on the beach and one in main building. Second has bigger choice, but on the beach you can eat on the fresh air with cozy atmosphere. We were completely happy with food choice and taste. Animation team is active and arrange a lot of interesting activities. They invite everyone, so you feel comfortable to join, but if you don’t feel like it, you can just relax. Also you can play table tennis, kicker, billiards, giant domino, darts, boccia. It’s all available all the time. With animation team or for individual use. Gym is new and well equipped for the training. Overall my family and I had great experience! But there are some things that can be improved. I would say that rooms are more on the level of 3 stars hotel. Room in general feels tired and needs some renovation. Bathroom has plastic ceiling that make room not cozy. Bed clothes are clean, but a little grey and have some spots. Towels also worn out. But beds and pillows are comfortable. Also patio is nice. Another point for us was spa. We planned to go, but prices are too high (most of procedures are cheaper in Russia and Germany). You could get some discounts for buying several procedures, but still prices are not good. Room cleaning is average. Foot towel were dirty, but weren’t changed, just folded back.

I consider myself a relatively picky person, so when I say that this was easily one of the best resort experiences I've had, I think that really says a lot. This was my first time at an all-inclusive resort, and the staff were incredibly polite, professional, and thoughtful. The room was very spacious, cleaned daily, and our room cleaner always left cute little designs on the beds which I thought added a thoughtful touch. Also the beds were suuuuper comfortable, especially the pillows which says a lot because I'm someone who never uses pillows because I can never find any that are comfy for me and the way that I sleep. I think they also offered like a pillow menu so they could bring you one that best worked for you. There were a variety of food options (I think honestly the Beach Bar restaurant had the best lunch, we went there literally every single day. We also may have developed an addiction to the spicy margaritas lol). The resort itself is very well maintained and absolutely beautiful. There are a series of other resorts next to Alaya and I really felt like we made the best decision in picking this one. It's also easy walking to both the coral and the regular beach. They had events every afternoon and evening so there was always a little something to do for everyone. Overall a great experience and I definitely will be going back!

The accommodation offers room service, an ATM and currency exchange for guests. AMAZING stay. We stayed for 6 nights in one of the junior suite with access to the pool and everything was perfect. I work in the hotel industry and I can tell you that the whole staff has service in their hearts. When we left after 7 days it felt like leaving your own family. A special thank to Nader, Ibrahim, Islam, Fadi, Mohamed (our housekeeper), the manager of the buffet restaurant and all the young guys from the lobby bar and pool bar. In terms of food we were a bit afraid that an all inclusive in Egypt would be a bit disappointing but the food is overall very good, a lot of variety and there are 5 « à la carte » restaurant that allows to change from the buffet. The morning buffet is delicious, great egg station and the pancakes and waffles are delicious. The wine of course is not like in France, but that is of course totally expected and overall okay. For the cocktail a little improvement could be done for some bar tenders as sometimes you get very different cocktails depending on who makes it, but again, nothing terrible ! In terms of cleanliness the hotel is extremely clean, there is an army of people cleaning the whole pool / beach areas after sunset and the rooms are extremely clean. If we come back to Hurghada I would definitely stay there again and from what we’ve seen on site, it is definetly better than most of the hotels and big international brands. Go there without hesitating !
