From the grounds, breakfast, the location on the NW coast of beautiful Taveuni, the lovely villa, gorgeous pool, comfy bed, full separate kitchen, app based TV, and most of all the views! There is a local scuba shop walking distance away (also kayaks and snorkel access), and the on-site managers Knox and Kelera were awesome. Would definitely come back!!

Petit bout de paradis, dans un cadre intimiste et chaleureux. Cathy et toute l’équipe sont attentionnées et très gentilles. Le lieu est magnifique, les chambres sont confortables et la nourriture est exceptionnelle !! L’organisation est simple et tous les transports sont ponctuels. Je recommande grandement. Paradise Taveuni is located on the island of Taveuni. Please book domestic flights to the island through www.fijiairways.com. Take a taxi from the Taveuni airport to the Resort (approx 60 mins). L ambiance de l hôtel, le staff tres friendly, le club de plongée dans le resort, les massages exceptionnels... tout etait parfait!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Taveuni Dive Resort is located near Soqulu, 9km from Waiyevo. Free WiFi Access in public areas is available in this resort. As snorkelers, we weren't sure if we'd fit in at a dive resort, however, our concerns were completely unfounded. Heading out on the dive boat in the mornings and exploring the reef with a guide (while the divers explored other deeper parts of the reef) was exactly the experience we were hoping for. From the moment we checked in, we knew we were somewhere different to any other resort we'd stayed at. First and foremost, the staff are what make Taveuni Dive Resort so special. HIGHLY recommend the meal plan as the food is incredibly tasty and beautifully presented (besides, there's no kitchen in the bures, so cooking your own food is nigh impossible... and why would you want to!?). Speaking of bures, although no air conditioning, the dual fans were sufficient to keep us cool on the hot nights. Windows are all protected with mesh, so no issues with bugs. The shower was great (best in the afternoon when water is hottest). The king (maybe super king) bed was really comfortable. It was quite a novelty for us to have a turndown service! Starlink WiFi Internet is fast, but limited to the restaurant area. Cellphone reception is present, but patchy and slow data rates. For location, the resort is only a 15min boat ride from the reef. It's a 1.5hr drive to Lavena (one way) over some very rough dirt roads (the sealed sections are a blessing). The dive/snorkel outings are half day activities, so it's possible to do something else in the afternoon. The pool was great afterwards! Breakfast was selected the night before (at dinner) and had a good range to choose from. The breakfasts were excellent (as was all the food!). All meals are served at the restaurant. The staff catered for gluten free (banana bread was so good). Coffee, tea and filtered water was complimentary (dairy, soy and almond milk was available). Packed lunches can also be booked the night before to pick up at breakfast if heading out for the day.
