Angél spoke great English and also helped us practice our Spanish. Bikes included, kayaks included, breakfast included, comfortable bed, nice long pool, some weights / yoga mats provided, free drinking water, fresh bath towels swapped mid stay.

It's a small hostel with few guests and nothing crazy going on. I came here to rest and clear my mind which was perfect! But I know a lot of people go to El paredon for partying, so it was so nice to find this quiet and calm place in this town. The beds were also so comfy and each bed has their own fan which I really really appreciated.

The staff welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. The room was spacious and luxurious, the outdoor shower was refreshing and fun, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. It was also really nice that guests are trusted to take drinks freely and just write it down. I highly, highly recommend it. In addition, during our stay there was a power outage in the town. The staff were very accommodating and agreed to cancel the extra night we had booked (even though it wasn’t their fault at all) and helped us arrange a taxi to our next destination. We truly hope we’ll be able to return again in the future!

There was a shared kitchen outside that you can use if you’re staying in Manglare, also a possibility to put your food/drinks in the fridge. The location is very calm and like a 5 min walk to the beach. El paredon is quite busy and there are some parties, but in Manglare it’s very calm. We liked it. Extra thing is that it is close to the mangroves, where you can rent some kayaks for example. At the end of our stay, we forgot some stuff that was still drying outside. We took contact with Manglare and they immediately were very helpful: they searched for a way to sent us our belongings by express delivery to our next hotel in Flores. Thanks for this service. Highly recommend it!

The pool was a nice size to hang out during the hot day. The food was delicious. The staff helped to decorate the room for a birthday occasion and the picnic basket for the beach was wonderful. Definitely will come back again. We had the Atitlan room, and it has a small balcony facing the pool.
