We cherished the attention to detail, cleanliness, effort to use as little plastic as possible, friendliness, attentive, accommodating staff, and ease with which everything was organised—and it was all well organised—made us feel like they had put in a lot of effort to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, yet made it look effortless. The beach and the water were clean, thanks also to frequent cleaning. The pool was a fantastic alternative to bathing in the sea. The massage services were soooo good! The atmosphere was calm and quiet. Often, we would have short and friendly chats with other guests. We found they had an excellent way of treating you like a guest, neither imposing friendship nor treating you like a client from whom to squeeze the money. Our stay was enriched by the deeper conversations we had, which revealed the hotel's commitment to more than just profit. We learned that the hotel is not just a business but also a platform for personal growth, especially for the young women of the surrounding villages. It's a place where they can learn from client interactions and use these experiences as a stepping stone to shape their own lives. As one person put it, it's as much a social endeavour as it is an economic one.

I visited Banyan Tree for a healthful long-weekend retreat. The Sunrise Yoga and other yoga classes were wonderful, and the spa services exceptional. The staff are simply outstanding! Loved the healthy juices and the comprehensive breakfast buffet. Fantastic views of the sea.

Mit Blick auf den Strand bietet die Unterkunft The Kelong Trikora Resort mit 3 Sternen Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in Kangkakawal und hat einen Außenpool, einen Garten und einen eigenen Strandbereich. Super liebes Personal 🫶 überaus freundlich und wollten uns jeden Wunsch erfüllen. Linda & Erix waren super und auch Rajuli (er hat uns über die Insel gefahren und viel gezeigt und uns auch von und zur Fähre gebracht) war auch super lieb . Wir hatten Mega Glück und waren von drei Nächten tatsächlich 2 davon die einzigen Gäste im Resort somit hatten wir alles für uns alleine. 😍 Eine kleine Oase zwischen dem Trubel auf der Straße. Schöner kleiner Strand (selbst wenn immer wieder Ebbe ist), der Pool ein Traum und das Essen super lecker. Wir konnten uns am Strand massieren lassen, was super entspannend und relaxend war. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Das Bad ist im Freien was uns am Anfang etwas abgeschreckt hatte zu buchen (wegen Moskitos etc) aber es war alles super und wir hatten im Zimmer selbst nie Mücken.

Direkt neben einem Dorf am Meer begrüßt Sie das loola Adventure Resort an der Küste von Bintan. Das Resort verfügt über einen eigenen Strandbereich und Wassersportmöglichkeiten. The staff were amazing and did everything they could to make our stay fun and enjoyable. We loved that all the meals were planned and prepared for us, which took the fuss out of us having to plan ahead for meals. The villa we stayed in was exactly as we expected from photos. The activities available were fun and enjoyed by the family, both young and old; we participated in activities such as boat and boom net, firefly tour, kayaking, skywalk, flying fox, marine walk and rock climbing.
