Featuring a shared lounge, Autentica Ortigia is a apartment located in a historic building in the centre of Siracusa, close to Syracuse Small Beach. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment features family rooms. The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and had a comfortable bed. The welcome was very warm, including clear checkin instructions and a bonus welcome ‘surprise’ from a local deli nearby. The location is perfect for a ‘base’ when visiting Ortigia, with parking close by, away from crowded areas but close enough to everything. Also worth to mention very friendly staff who took care of us and replied to messages within minutes. And a nice bonus, free mini bar with water, soft drinks and delicious snacks! Highly recommend this place for staying in Ortigia!

Adriano at Reception was extremely pleasant and helpful to answer our questions and make recommendations. Try the Ciauru Anticu Trattoria nearby. Our room (#30) was functional, modern, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and seemed very new. The breakfast buffet was the very best we had among our 8 accommodations touring around Sicily. Just incredible. Imagine helping yourself to Gelato for breakfast! Beautiful outdoor pool/patio and free parking. We loved everything about this place and would highly recommend.

Very calm and relaxing atmosphere, in a lovely city with great nearby restaurants and not overcrowded with tourists. We watched the sunset from the rooftop Jacuzzi, which was a very nice experience! We traveled with car which I'd recommend as the city of Agrigento, the Valley of the Temples and several beaches and vineyards are close by and worth visiting during your stay here.
