In the area lots of temples and Old architecture. Nice helpfule owner, snack and water as welcome gifts. Not all trains stops on closeat station but its easy to catch local train and change few stations later for fast rapid train

The breakfast was excellent, the stuff was very friendly without being intrusive. Especially the manager, Mr. Sumi, was always open for answering questions. The whole conversations went on in Japanese, my Japanese isn't bad and my wife is Japanese. What I especially like is the sense of community, which is not uncommon in Japan. For the umi no hi (the feast of the ocean), the hotel prepared Curry and toys of the local community. Very likeable indeed!
