Die Besitzerin ist eine super Gastgeberin und hat uns geholfen, sehr schnell einen Roller zu reservieren. Insbesondere in der Nebensaison ist es besonders wichtig, einen Roller zu haben, da ansonsten kaum etwas in der Umgebung zu finden ist. Die Lage ist sehr super, um schnell zum Strand zu gelangen.

This accommodation blew everything out of the Sri Lanka waters. Truly amazing hospitality during our stay. Passionate Manager Umberto didn’t just host us—he really brought his soul into the experience, and we felt it every step of the way. It’s the little touches that made it so special: the warm and attentive staff (i.e. Nif and Pathum),the delicious bites with our apero, the magical evening lighting, the beautiful art around the property, the fresh melon on the beach, the water service by the pool and beach…best of Italian 🇮🇹 cuisine (cooked by Umberto himself) and so much more. Every detail was thought through with care, and it showed. Truly unforgettable, and we’re already dreaming of coming back.

Das umweltfreundliche Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection empfängt Sie direkt am Sandstrand der Bucht Passekudah Bay an der Ostküste von Sri Lanka. The hotel welcomes all new guests with flower necklaces and cool fruit drinks. The breakfast buffet options are numerous. We ordered a la carte lunch & dinner, and the food was always exceptional. (Note, the first night we wanted something that they didn’t have but they ordered it for the second night.) The room was ok, but all rooms come with a comfortable balcony to make up for what the room lacks. Also, the bathroom is about the same size as the room. The beach and the ocean are by far the main reason to come here. The warm ocean water is unparalleled and the hotel staff do a wonderful job keeping their section of the beach clean. The pool area is also nice, but we came for the beach and spent most of our time there. The kid space is lacking, but that’s ok as long as you aren’t there when it rains. Lastly, all the staff we encountered were professional. They helped arrange our departure taxi which actually was rather reasonably priced; meaning same price everyone seems to charge tourists 200 rupees per kilometer (rather than what locals pay which is like 120-150). Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

Amazing location. Literally less than 1 min to the beach. Caring, attentive host. The host is so welcoming and happy to help with anything. Amazing food. Breakfast is incredible and very generous. Would really recommend having dinner at the guesthouse at least once as it’s the most amazing Sri Lankan home cooked food and very reasonably priced!!

We loved everything here. Very charming property by the beach with really beautiful furnitures and very comfortable. The staff is amazing, they are caring, they do everything for you to feel good and have the best experience. They spot every detail for you. The chef deserves a micheline star. The food experience was delicious. It is the perfect place to recharge. Thank you to the staff of kalkudah beach house for making this place a wonderful moment for us.

Die Unterkunft Bay Walk by AHSRAM, die in Kalkudah, 500 m von Strand Kalkudah Beach entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem kostenlosen Privatparkplatz... This place is twice as nice as the Ubay Homestay I stayed at in Trincomalee for which I paid much more - $30 per night. What's better about it, besides the lower price, is: More spacious, more modern room Fewer bugs (really hardly any) Larger, less smelly bathroom Much quieter setting. Instead of being in the middle of a bunch of other places, including a loud hostel next door, as Ubay was, this place is in a wide open, peaceful setting, the only close neighbor a church. Better breakfast at the same price - 1300 Free, filtered water A larger staff, very attentive, but unobtrusive, only there when you need them The two beaches nearby are quieter and less crowded Much thanks to Usha, the owner's wife, who speaks excellent English. She welcomed me graciously with fresh coconut water and gave me another one when I left.

Weniger als 500 m von Strand Kalkudah Beach und 400 m von Sri Muththu Mariyamman Kovil entfernt in Pasikuda gelegen, bietet die Unterkunft AHSRAM Accommodations Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem... Die Familie und das Personal waren super herzlich! Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und wurden zwischendurch sogar mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten wie Säften versorgt :) Auch Fahrräder konnten wir nutzen! Die Lage ist unschlagbar und die gesamte Anlage ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber mit Liebe gestaltet :) Einziger kleiner negativer Punkt war das Bett, da die Matratze schon ziemlich durch gelegen war und die Kissen sehr hart waren. Aber das hat unseren Aufenthalt in keinster Weise groß beeinflusst :)
