They surprised us with a special dinner under the stars. This memory will stay with us forever. The room was super clean and the food was amazing.

La maison, une grande chambre avec 2 lits, 1 très grand lit pour 2 personnes et 1 lit d'une personne plus salle de bain. Une seconde chambre, avec aussi une salle de bain. Une cuisine équipée avec un réfrigérateur. Vous pouvez donc cuisiner. Une belle terrasse couverte avec de nombreux coussins ,une table et au moins 4 chaises. Climatisation dans chaque pièce. Propreté et meublé avec goût et couleurs. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Gayan. Nous avons passé 2 nuits et plus de 2 journées dans cette belle location que je vous recommande. La plage de kirinda Beach est reposante et majestueuse. Vous entendez très bien le son des vagues de la terrasse. Vous pouvez emporter des bains de soleil de la maison à la plage. Les parcs de Bundala et Yala sont à 15 Km, 20 minutes en voiture. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

L’établissement Kingfisher Beach Resort-Yala Safari vous accueille à Kirinda, à 200 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage Nidangala. Nice location - just few steps from the beach. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. AC was working great, hot water system also. Room has protection against insects, so nothing gets inside the room. Owner is super helpful, showed us the hotel, beach and surrounding area. He can also arrange the safari for you. There is a restaruant in the hotel serving tasty seafood (we had fresh lobsters). Definitely a great spot! Fully recommended for everyone!

Jan and I felt as though we were in paradise, away from the frenetic atmosphere of Yala. Food and attention to detail was exemplary.

Overlooking the pristine southern coast of Sri Lanka, Shangri-La Hambantota is located along the ancient Spice Route in a city steeped in rich history. The staff was very helpful and responsive. They were in touch all the time before arrival, providing all kind of useful information and allowed us to check in, although we arrived around 10AM. We stayed in a double room with two beds, that were big enough for 3 of us. Even though the sea was rough and we could not use the beach much, the swimming pools were a good option and there were always available beds at each one of them. We tried all the restaurants and bars and the food / snacks were good at every place. We loved the fact that there were plenty of wild animals in the resort - monkeys, peacocks, roosters, lizards, etc. There are plenty of sites to visit, but be prepaired for at least one hour drive in each direction. Couple of things that might be improved - the table tenis and the pool accessories were in bad shape and could be renewed more often. The pillows on the big beach beds could be fitted with velcro tape to keep them stuck on the bed and avoid the continuous move and falling.

No problems with water, there is a fan and air conditioning. The owner and staff do not impose anything on you beyond what you have agreed on. But at the same time they are always ready to help you if necessary. Imagine that you are very tired of the city bustle, constant noise, annoying and intrusive sellers. You want to escape somewhere to the ends of the earth. Then this is the place for you. Here you will be met by Thaliph, who will give you a room, feed you breakfast and express his readiness to introduce you to the beauty of Sri Lanka. Imagine a beach with fine white sand. Closer to the ocean, the sand is already chocolate color. And not a single tourist around, no one will prevent you from enjoying the beauty of the ocean. Only you and the ocean, which will greet you with the sound of the surf and a light breeze. In this house, you will be surrounded by the most hospitable and friendly people. When we went to this guest house, we imagined a hotel, fuss, scurrying staff. But, after we checked in, we were left to our own devices. At the same time, everything we needed was given to us as soon as we reminded about ourselves. The breakfasts are excellent. Fish with rice or vegetables, shrimp or fruit on the ocean shore are simply delicious. You will always be given fresh tea, and those who wish will be offered a bottle of beer. By the way, when you go out onto the terrace in front of the house, you are already on the shore and the ocean greets you. We were met at the airport. Upon arrival, the rooms were already ready for occupancy. Everything was clean and tidy. And again, without unnecessary fuss. If you want, they will organize any trip for you along any route: beaches, national parks, Buddhist temples, all the sights of Sri Lanka.

The hotel is under new management, and all the staff—from the management team to the restaurant, housekeeping, and reception—were incredibly kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I was unwell during my stay, but the support I received was much appreciated. Special thanks to Rashad, who organised a doctor and transport for me, making the whole process seamless. The meals were lovely, and Shahir Harim makes the best chai! I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and welcoming stay.
