Das Barefoot Eco Hotel liegt am Ufer von Hanimaadhoo und bietet ruhige und komfortable Unterkünfte mit kostenfreiem WLAN in allen Bereichen. Sehr überzeugende Ökomassnahmen und wunderschönes Resort. Uns hat gefallen, dass im Barefoot Eco Hotel sehr darauf geachtet wird, dass nicht unnötig Abfall produziert wird. Die Angestellten, die im Restaurant arbeiten, sind sehr nett!! Auch das Essen war wirklich gut! Es hat uns gefallen, dass sich das Eco-Hotel auf einer bewohnten Insel befindet. Der Empfang im Resort war nicht sehr freundlich. Auch bereits bei der Reservation , als wir noch zu Hause waren, schrieb man mir, meine Kreditkarte sei ungültig und die Reservation werde storniert, falls ich dies nicht ändern würde etc. Dies obwohl meine Karte, die ich fast täglich benütze, absolut aktualisiert und gültig war. Das gab uns nicht gerade das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein … Und: Von der Treppe des Nachbarhauses (unser Haus war Nr. 8) sah man direkt in unser Badezimmer. Eine Markise als Sichtschutz wäre dort angebracht. Bei der Abreise waren die Damen auf dem kleinen Airport sehr unfreundlich. Sie schikanierten uns und durchwühlten immer wieder unsere Koffer, weil sie darin ein Feuerzeug vermuteten. Das war ärgerlich. Das Eco-Hotel hat da natürlich nichts dafür.

Viluveli is a great choice for a relatively low budget retreat with much of the perks of more luxurous locations. Its located few feet from a gorgeous sandy white beach and spectacular blue waters. This is usually accompanied with a constant refreshing breeze from the sea and you could just sit at the beach to enjoy the view and cool relaxing wind for hours. Also despite being so close to the beach its also relatively close to the heart island. Most of the shops and eateries are a 15 minute walk away so you are not trapped in a remote location and can easily get back to civilization. There is a reasonably sized clean swimming pool which can be refreshing as the sea itself maybe difficult to swim for some inexperienced swimmers due to the relatively strong waves which are present most of the day. They also offer free snorkelling gear for those interested. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. The wifi is great with good connectivity. The room was clean and comfy as well with overall good service.

Gelegen direkt am Strandin Nolhivaranfaru, verfügt die Unterkunft Mi Lugar Maldives über einen Garten. This place is not the tipical resort and we really liked it. Closed to the beach and the ocean. We want to say thank to Hussen and the staff for taking care of us.
