Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und hatte eine hochwertige Ausstattung, ebenso das Badezimmer. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hat uns ein kostenloses Upgrade gegeben. Alles war sauber und die Lage war top. Leider hatten wir nur eine Nacht in KK geplant, sonst wären wir gerne länger in dieser tollen Unterkunft geblieben. 100% Weiterempfehlung!

Das Bigfin beach resort liegt direkt am Meer in Kota Belud und bietet einen eigenen Strandbereich. Die Unterkunft bietet ein Restaurant und einen Garten. Two thumbs up. This place is so well run and maintained. All staff are so kind, helpful and reliable. There is no pressure whatsoever to book any of the tours. The staff are completely open about what they do and don't offer, so no unpleasant surprises - all is exactly as advertised. I had prepared to be pretty much cut off from the world for the 3 days of my stay, but to my pleasant surprise Wifi was solid all day in the reception area and the evening hours of power supply in the rooms easily sufficed to keep my devices charged. Assorted books and board games add to the character of the place, as do the adorable cats and, yes, the two or three monitor lizards seen around. The hammocks were comfortable and in ample supply. Beautiful and tranquil garden setting, fabulous views, awesome stretch of near-private beach with lovely fine sand. And to experience all that without any noise from road traffic? Just an unforgettable experience.

Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. I liked everything! The atmosphere is quite and relaxing. You feel as in the family, and a very accepting family! Everything you need is provided for you; Fred and Espi really make your life comfortable. In addition, the wonderful nature around, and you can get kayaks to go to the nearest island to make snorkeling and to see corals and colorful fishes... If you need a rest after the long working year, it is the best place you can choose. No noise, no transport, no crowds, the view of ocean, a very clean beach near the stay. We had a walk around the island, and the best and cleanest beach was near our stay. The food that the owners provide was delicious, everything was home-made, including the bread that I couldn't stop to eat it. I have a food allergy, and Espi cooked for me individually so that I could eat without worrying about it. It is the place that I would like to return there each year! I just want to thank Fred and Espi, his wife, for this wonderful time!
