From the moment we arrived, Hotel Ullensvang felt like stepping into a dream. Nestled between majestic fjords and snow-capped mountains, the location alone is worth the trip — but what truly makes it extraordinary is the warmth and attention to detail from the entire team. The infinity pool overlooking the water is simply spectacular, and the wellness facilities are spotless, serene, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Breakfast and dinner were both exceptional, with fresh, local ingredients and a variety that caters to every taste — all served in a dining room with panoramic views. The staff went above and beyond to make every moment special, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Hotel Ullensvang is more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience of comfort, beauty, and Norwegian hospitality at its finest. I cannot recommend it enough, and I’m already planning my return.

In a quaint village in Hardanger, lies this hotel with a long history of taking care of travelers and we were in luck to stumble upon the place in May - and we were truly positively surprised and would love to come back!

we loved that the hotel was next to lake and we had a beautiful view. It’s nice short walk to the beach and centre. Room was big and comfortable. Breakfast had so much variety. parking free.
