Robert and his wife were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The place was very stylish and very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. 15 minute walk to the beach.

Nikki and Manolo are first class hosts. They're new to the hotel and working very hard to meet expectations. Given the limitations of a very small island they try their best to welcome you and meet your every need. Due to ferry times from Panama City they kindly et us check in about 4 hours early and check out about 4 hours late (as nobody was in before us / coming straight in after us) and this had such a positive experience on our stay. The views from the pool area of the beach and across the ocean are phenomenal with only the odd swaying palm in the way whilst framing perfection! In addition to accessible white sands and beautiful blue waters we saw stingrays and whales! It's a real treat to stay in a cliff-top hotel with direct beach access... and Cacique Beach is one of the best on the island - soft sand, clear water, no trash. Location is fantastic - close to everything, it's safe and convenient with unbeatable views. You can walk to Executive Beach, the store and a couple restaurants all within 15 mins. The walk is lovely and very safe - barely any traffic and no horrid street dogs. Keep eyes peeled for sloths and deer. If you don't want to / can't walk far, Nikki or Manolo will drop you anywhere on the island for 5 bucks. I would say...just remember... a 5* hotel in Europe and a 5* hotel on a tiny island in Panama is not comparable. Europe is USD 400 and here is more than half the price. Keep that in mind. Go with the flow and enjoy the unbeatable paradisiacal views and service. Strong and reliable throughout all areas. We're looking forward to returning in 2026/2027 to see what Nikki and Monolo have achieved with this little piece of paradise.

Sie wohnen umgeben von einem weitläufigen tropischen Garten.... Die Lage des Hotels ist einzigartig: direkt hinter einem Traumstrand mit glasklarem erfrischenden Wasser. Eine kleine Bar sorgt für erfrischende Getränke. Alle Gäste werden zuvorkommend behandelt.

Das Hotel Gerald überzeugt mit einer herrlichen Lage am Strand Galeón an der Nordküste von Contadora. Es bietet einen Außenpool und ein Restaurant. Das Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen, Zimmer und Bad sind ausreichend gross und Top sauber. Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Fahrservice von und zur Fähre ist äußerst angenehm.Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Insgesamt war es ein absolut angenehmer und entspannter Aufenthalt, vielen Dank dafür.

Since we arrived to the island our Host Gabriela was waiting with a big smile. she gave us a tour through the island, showed us the beaches to go, restaurants and stores. She was a great host. The hotel feels like home, the room was better than expected, everything was clean, there was hot water, a fridge in the room, TV, AC and fan, and we have a back door that you could see the forrest and connect with Nature. I love this place and I will come back again for sure.

Die Unterkunft Sonny Island Resort Cabañas Frente al Mar mit Meerblick in Punta Bajo Rico bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem eigenen Strandbereich, einer Terrasse, einem... The manager greeted us as soon as we arrived, very much appreciated we were spoken in English! Good direction on how everything worked. Pleasant music in dining area was so relaxing and the food for welcome was a nice surprise! Very organized and so clean! Furniture was very comfortable. Beds were a very important thing for me, but they were comfortable & fresh! Including pillows. The cabins were impeccably clean!!! Not even a speck of sand. No unpleasant smells in cabin either. Just clean & relaxing. The porch was perfect for a private seating space. ❤️

Location is incredible, very close to dock. The porch is a major high point, we enjoyed cool breezes in the morning and evening with our coffee. We booked this property in particular for 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms on different floors so we didnt hear each other snoring nor require a bathroom schedule. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water. The TV is high quality. Frig is large and held excellent temp. Location is a short golf cart ride (highly recommend) to Playa Cacique (we took the loft's gravity chairs and 1 beach towel each to the beach so no rental fees for chairs or umbrella) and ate breakfast at that hotel's restaurant ($50 for 2 omelets, bacon, toast, coffee and oj). Beds were comfortable. The air-conditioning kept very cool/cold in the main areas, what a relief from the humidity. Michaela and Elena were both very responsive, addressed our needs quickly and pleasantly, and endeavored to make our stay great.
