The hotel and the entire surrounding landscape are a true paradise. The operators of the hotel are extremely friendly and very helpful and are available to answer any questions with competent answers. They also gave us tips for leisure activities. The hotel itself leaves nothing to be desired and offers every comfort. Some people have written in their reviews that there are no shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity and that it is better to stock up on drinks before travelling. It is true that there is no shop nearby, but water is available free of charge at any time of the day or night. The drinks in the hotel bar can also be bought at a really fair price. And actually, you know before you book that you've chosen a hotel in a secluded location, so that shouldn't be a problem anyway. And to be honest, it's the location in the middle of nature on the beautiful beach that gives the hotel its special flair. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and we always enjoyed it. The breakfast was included in the room rate, was very good and you could also choose from different variations. We really enjoyed the hotel and will definitely be back. Thanks a lot for the great days and your excellent hospitality! Oops, I almost forgot, you can also watch sloths and howler monkeys from the hotel. Really cute to watch :)

Die in Bocas del Toro in der Region Colón-Insel gelegene Unterkunft La Luciernaga Big Creek bietet kostenloses WLAN, Grillmöglichkeiten, einen Garten und einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz. Sehr bequeme Betten, Kühlschrank im Zimmer, gute Küche im Freien. Viel Ablagemöglichkeiten im Zimmer. Kaum von anderen genutzter Strand ca. 5min von der Unterkunft an der Hauptstrasse. Tour wurde für uns arrangiert. Taxis fahren häufig vorbei. Das Frühstück unvergesslich lecker und ausgiebig und die Gastgeber unglaublich herzlich und freundlich. Pizza und Lasagne, die man mit Lieferservice bestellen kann, fast wie in Italien ;) Jedenfalls gehört sie zu den besten Pizzen unserer Zentralamerikareise. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass es eine ruhige Lage, etwas abseits ist.

Very exceptional experience, we enjoyed the place very much. The nature around the dome is so beatiful full of interesting plants and animals to observe. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to all our needs which made our stay very pleasant.

This was the most perfect hotel I’ve ever stayed at- it was like he stayed in each suite to make sure everything was comfortable. Benoit was an amazing host. He was very calm and created a relaxing environment. The decor was gorgeous and tastefully executed. Food was fantastic which was prepared by him and his wife - they make a great duo. Benoit offers all the services and tours you need, without being pushy. This place could not be any cleaner - 10s all around!

You can swim in the sea from their dock - very convenient as there are no good beaches in walking distance. The dock is beautiful just to sit at, too. Super friendly stuff. Pricey, yet good restaurant right at the sea. Happy hour cocktails. 10-min walk from boats and water taxis dock. Cute little town - restaurants, street food, supermarkets - all convenient.
