Military Camp is 600 metres from the hostel. Trang Airport is 372 km away. The staff were very welcoming and accomodating. Very clean, light, plug, curtains and towel provided. Cookies, water, coffee available all day.... banana for breakfast along with coffee. Walking street is so close, island is small so very walkable. Food prices can be reasonable... chicken rice and veges 80 baht, mango and yogurt smoothie, 50 baht. Shop around. North beach has some grwat beach bars. I snorkled here and saw fis around the rocks. It is well worth a visit, 21/2 to 3hr boat ride from Koh Lanta.

The room was clean, the staff were very friendly, and it was in a great location. It is about a 3-5 minute walk to the Walking Street. The breakfast provided was excellent as well. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Ko Lipe. I can't say enough about how amazing the staff were. We highly recommend this place!

This extraordinary small hotel with incredibly hard-working and friendly staff gave us a truly dreamlike and unforgettable vacation. Each room is in its own bungalow, all of which have a balcony or terrace with a sea view. The rooms are simply and functionally furnished, but that was more than enough for us, because the big highlight of this resort is the coral reef and white sandy beach right on the doorstep. This beach is undoubtedly the most beautiful beach on the island, quiet and perfect for snorkeling and swimming. A big advantage is that there are no long-tail boats here, so peace and quiet is guaranteed. The hotel's restaurant is excellent with a wide selection of local and international dishes and drinks. It really was a perfect stay and we will be back!

The property features 3 well-designed swimming pools, a garden and a gym. It also includes a kids' club and a library. We loved everything about Akira Lipe - we stayed here on our honeymoon and everything was fabulous. The buffet is extensive with so many options, the room is clean and very comfortable, the location is fantastic and the staff are amazing. Not to mention the great happy hour. Can't wait to return!
