Exactly how we pictured the stay , rustic cosy cabin updated just enough like the shower cubicle all functioning applicances good pans etc but love the vintage details (kitchen tiles) and WOW a whistling kettle (thank you from us Brits), Cabin 3 was actually perfectly tucked out the way by the river between amazing redwoods. The site is perfect for walks to Henry Cowell hikes although we didn't brave crossing the river to it; just listened to the water whilst wrapped in my blanket drinking tea on the deck. One evening we did the HC redwood loop the next day we headed all the way through to the top of the hills what amazing views and secenery on sandy trails and lovely birds. Everything you need in the cabin to feel like home and a very comfy bed and perfect stop on our californian tour to see even more redwoods and cabin in the redwoods was just amazing. The design is really cool. Spacious rooms. Incredible staff. We went there for my birthday and my daughter had decided to send a bottle of champagne to the room. She said that the staff were super friendly and indeed when we arrived, there were two champagne glasses and a bottle in the fridge. It’s just a beautiful place with an absolutely amazing spa.

The room was very comfortable and clean with ample space--very good value for the money, especially when compared to some of the other places in the area. We had a separate area to relax in, with a sofa and additional TV. We very much enjoyed our stay. It was only one night but super comfortable.
