Nina and her husband are very friendly. The room is very clean and bright. The common room is delightful, very condortable. There's a balcony for watching the sunset. The bathroom is very nice. The breakfast is also very good (ask for the honey, it's homegrown).

We had an amazing stay at Karin’s. After hiking and camping for a few days on the Transcaucasian Trail, the hot shower, beautiful garden and impeccably clean room were super refreshing. What made our stay especially memorable though is the way in which Karin made us feel at home and the evening chatter over a cup of tea in the beautiful garden. Also, make sure that you don’t miss out on the amazing home-cooked dinner with so many homegrown veggies. Worth a detour to Sisian if it’s not on your schedule already!

Very small room, but comfortable bed and okay for a short stay. Host family were very friendly and endearing, and offered a taxi service to Tatev monastery the next day (about 30km south).

Is it clean? Yes. Is it comfortable? Yes. Is the breakfast tasty? Yes. Very quiet location; close to Monastery. Bright and spacious rooms (we had 2 different rooms); good linens, comfortable bed. Evenings were cold in late September, so the heater was much appreciated. Good breakfast. Hosts always gave us evening tea and biscuits. And we had a kettle and cups in the room. Washing machine is a great asset.

The location is very convenient, especially for getting to the Wings of Tatev. The place is spotless, with three showers, and has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable, with excellent orthopedic mattresses.
