The owner was really nice and accomodating, she let us in earlier than 15 (check in time) to leave our bags. The room was clean, the soaps in the bathroom smelled nice, Netflix account was set, cookies, coffee and tea were in the foyer outside of the room. Even got a notebook with recommendations of where to eat, drink, sightsee.

To be honest, it really did exceed my expectations. The building and the rooms are even more beautiful than in the photos. There are beautiful artistic touches throughout. My room was very comfortable, with an excellent bathroom. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and there were coffee and tea available in the room as well. The host was friendly and helpful. It is in an excellent location, close to the heart of Brussels and the more northern part (I had some work events closer to Rogier, and the North train station, easily reachable on foot). I would love to come back in warmer weather to also enjoy the lovely terrace.

Although not in the center (which by the way is terrible for staying overnight) the location is excellent. Lot of nature and quiteness. Property is very clean and cosy. I stopped here for a night on a work trip, I was looking for somewhere quiet and a meal close by. I was not expecting near perfection, but that’s what I got! Normally I don’t write reviews as most hotels are similar, most are ok, some are not ok, but this was absolutely amazing. Beautifully renovated historic building in the centre next to the church, a great Italian restaurant around the corner and a supermarket just a hundred meters up the street. Thank you Bianca!

Clear instructions were given to retrieve the keys. It’s almost like a portal, once inside, it’s nice and peaceful, but once out of the main door, the tourist crowd is right there. Most of what we need for the stay were available, we could also cook a light meal/microwave food. Plenty of coffee capsules were provided as well.
