Every space is tastefully decorated and radiates a unique charm. In the mornings, we were spoiled with a generous breakfast, full of delicious local products and freshly baked bread. Very nice Grotto, with freshly renovated rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Before arriving we were informed about the possibilities for breakfast and restaurants. At our arrival, there was some minor technical issue with the heating and we were given immediately another room.

For a more peaceful getaway from Lugano, Morcote was a perfect place to spend the night. What's better than staying in a traditional house when you are in one of Switzerland's most charming villages. Manuela was a fantastic host, although I didn't get to meet her, she was always available via WhatsApp and helped with all the needs. Check-in couldn't have been simpler. The house is beautifully decorated like an antique doll house, I had the attic room with lake view, it was very cozy and also had an air conditioner, the house also have a pretty little garden. The location is also just a few steps from the lakeside. The village itself gives you the vibe of being in one of the towns on lake Como. The walk upto the Chiesa and steps down to the lake from the other side was breathtaking and Parco Scherrer is a gem.
