I really appreciated my stay at the Chasa Sassalbo were I have felt just like at home thanks to Karen's kindness & warm welcome. The room was very clean and lovely, I slept so well. After few days on the road, it was the perfect place to relax, explore and chill on the balcony with great views. I loved the charming feel of the place, a mix of Swiss-Italian atmosphere, architecture and decoration. It is perfectly located for great holidays, I could spend the afternoon on the lake's beach and had a swim, having a pizza in Italy, hiking the Swiss Alps, a day in famous Saint-Moritz and the Bernina Express train stop is just 5 minutes away. The value for the affordable price makes it a perfect relaxing place and central point from were to explore the stunning surroundings for a holiday or for fews days. I highly recommend. Super friendly staff and helpful, all spoke German and some of them spoke English. Had a Delicious Pizza for dinner with a drink in the restaurant, which is quite elegant. If you are coming from the centre of Switzerland during the winter, make sure to bring snow chains or drive a 4x4, because this hotel is over the Berninapass. Or take the train, that stops right next to the hotel.

Very good location ! Spectacular view of the famous Brusio circular viaduct ! Do not miss the restaurant's speciality "Panzerotti dello Chef". The owners are very nice people. We felt like at home !

May be a hostel type with shared bathroom but the experience was very good. The place has earth shades making you feel extremely comfortable. I just liked it a lot. It feels like a log cabin wooden roof etc feels excellent!

It’s a lovely old original property in a quaint old fashioned typically Swiss / Italian square. The room was just the right size with a lovely warm bathroom floor. Breakfast was continental and comprehensive.
