The host was just lovely and let me leave my motorcycle gear with her while I did 2 days of hiking. Also great parking for the bike.

Jeff, the American owner, is awesome 👌 . Jeff has been in this hospitality game for over a year (I think if not 2 years), but it feels like he has been there as long as the original building structure itself is great. This has been my 3rd camino frances, and I can honestly say it's the best albergue on the way. I came too early because I take my time (remember pilgrims it's a pilgrimage not a sporting walking race competition) and when I arrived early Jeff shook my hands welcomed me and explained that the rooms are not ready yet (of course I arrived at 12 o'clock) he let me leave my bag and explore this beautiful town until rooms are ready. When the room was ready, it was incredible Every detail was there, and the beds (NOT BUNKBEDS) are so comfy.the light has different settings. The blinds have black out windows, and they are even little glasses in the bathroom for water, etc, with showers with gentle shampoo.sadly I didn't get to taste Jeff's cooking but he did recommend an amazing resteraunt which I went for lunch and dinner it was called something Don nachos I think and it was great proper celtic galician grilled meat it was great. Jeff explained that if I come back late, I can use the code to open the door myself after lock-in time I would really consider Jeff's home as a great rest stop Good luck, Jeff, and rest well, pilgrims. The owner was so sweet, people from the area, but her in particular was phenomenal. Her indications, her voice, she was ver soothing and helped us with recommendations (the best!) and feel confortable in the hostel.
