Lovely room in a beautiful house. Delicious breakfast while sitting overlooking the garden. Owners are warm, friendly and keen to make sure guests are comfortable. There is free parking on the street outside and in many of the side streets as well as reasonably priced car parks nearby. It's also in a great location if you want to be in the centre of Niort. Highly recommended!

Lovely accommodation. Very comfortable and located right on a canal, in a very convenient area for walking to restaurants. The house was charming, and the garden made for beautiful views from the window. Agnès was a terrific hostess, who was very knowledgeable about the local area and nearby attractions. She was proactive in communicating before we arrived, providing easy instructions for parking, and was on hand to greet us as we arrived. She also provided great meal recommendations. Clean and tranquil location, well placed for our cycling trip to La Rochelle, safe storage for our bikes and an excellent breakfast. There was only a takeaway pizza shop in the village for dinner (& it was a Sunday night) but we were able to eat the pizzas with a bottle of wine bought from the same shop in the delightful sheltered space outside the Venise Verte and use the provided cutlery and glasses from the little shared kitchen
