It was spotless with everything we needed and more. We also had the use of the garden. The host was very friendly but we were self contained and left to our own devices. Parking on site

In our many years of travel we have never had such thoughtful and kind hosts as Christophe and Olivier. The property itself was really well located, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a three night stay, including a private outdoor area where we were able to eat. The hosts have really spared no expense in renovating the property. What made our stay in Brive very special was the advice and guidance of Christophe and Olivier to ensure we had the full Brive experience - everything from picking us up at the train station, restaurant recommendations (and booking) and a guided tour of the fabulous Saturday Brive markets. Thanks guys - you made our stay really special.

Fiora and Philippe really are the stars of the show here, their hospitality and help was way beyond expectations. The house has beautiful architecture and the room was lovely and quiet. It was extremely hot during our stay so a fan and fridge in the room would have been nice. We were allowed use of the owners fridge but maybe our English reserve or just because the owners were so nice, we did not like to disturb them and felt a little awkward when asking for our food/drink. Wonderful terrace (shared) with views of town. Great pool (shared).15- 20 minutes walk to town but all uphill on way back - an effort in 35 degree heat. Taxi from town, eu 10-15. Thank you Fiora and Philippe you are very special with unique generosity. You truly are SUPER HOSTS. (And great chef - chocolate cake, yummy!)

Lovely Chambres d'hotes. The room was charming, very comfortable. Sebastian was an excellent host. He cooked us an amazing dinner using all local produce. He is very knowledgeable about the local producers and the area as a whole. Breakfast was a huge spread, including fresh orange juice and coffee. This is a wonderful place to stay. I wish we could have spent more than 1 night.
