It was a really pleasant stay at Au Pied du Cognelot! The host Bruno was very welcoming and friendly, and we had a good laugh in the morning. The stay was very comfortable and neat; good beds, very clean and nice bathroom and shower! We hope to be back some day. (@Bruno: we will bring euro’s next time instead of Moroccan money haha!)

It was lovely and peaceful, very homely and the village was quaint. It had a really nice pizzeria restaurant. Owner was very nice and accommodating, no English spoken but we got by. Breakfast was homemade and very tasty. Homemade jams and fresh bread, freshly picked tomatoes. Would def recommend if you have children and want to stay in the same room on your drive to south of France.

I had some rather intense travel and stay overs over the years but, this was by far the best I ever had. Upon arrival you find a large and secured space for your car, entering the premises you receive a very warm welcome. You feel comfortable everywhere you go inside, rooms are very spacious, all is very clean, difficult to beat this B&B. A mixed continental/french breakfast prepares you for the day, a large choice of English teas (and beers BTW). I shall be back as and when I will take the same route.

This place was fantastic. Room was huge, the little town was so much fun to explore for a few hours. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant which were both delicious and excellent. The hosts were extremely nice. Lots of nice little touches throughout. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly couple, we got offered a welcome drink and could leave our bicycles in the garage. Wlan was excellent and it was an overall pleasant stay, rich breakfast with selfmade things. Quiet area and many extras in the bathroom in case of need. I would recommend this accomodation to my friends.

We arrived at Le Sanglier Sauvage after a long day of driving. We were greeted with big smiles and immediately offered a chilled glass of white wine, sitting on the terrace enjoying the beautiful view over the gardens. Freske’s delicious home cooked dinner was also enjoyed alfresco, and all the stress of the motorways quickly dwindled. Our room was spacious with a beautiful, new ensuite and beds were very comfy. The perfect end to a long day. Breakfast was equally delicious, setting us up for yet another day of driving! Renske and Arnoud were the perfect hosts. We loved every minute in their little paradise and we will definitely be going back. Highly recommend! Nick & Gitte xx
