We stayed here twice, once on our way down to our holiday in Spain and again on the way back travelling back to Belgium. The name says it all! L’experience and it truly was a great experience! The place itself is set in a tranquil little village in beautiful nature and river running at the end of the garden. Our family was absolutely fine and had all the amenities. Hosts Rinel and Eric are warm and charming people, very welcoming and they definitely make up for the tranquility and quietness of the area over diner which is served for the guests at one long welcoming table.

I stayed a night in chambre d’hôte during my walk GRP Tour du Tanargue. The rooms are simply wonderful. Very new and perfectly designed. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful with recommended activities in the region. Delicious breakfast. My stay was pure joy, particularly after a long day of walking. Thanks so much! A very individual yet classy style in a traditional French stone house in the middle of the Ardèche area. Very uncomplicated and super friendly staff, and the restaurant serves ingenious and delicious food (dinner & breakfast) in a distinctly French style environment: warm atmosphere, unobtrusive music, sympathetic guests. Plus, the hotel has a sauna and whirlpool for recreation. All was perfect, it feels like home. We are experienced travellers and see a lot of hotels - this is a top pick. We were surprised to find an ambiente this perfect in this charming little village of Montpezat.

Set in a beautiful location, the premises is an old building renovated to a high standard. Very clean and great hosts with a small shop on site. The rooms are very comfortable and if you need anything the hosts will try to help. We arrived on a motorbike in poor weather and the hosts dried our clothes for us.

This is a beautiful place to stay and by far the best hotel I have stayed at in France (I live here and stayed in many). The place is beautifully decorated and the owners are friendly and attentive. The bedroom was just perfect and I really cannot fault it. I would drive the 4.5 hours it took to get here again just to stay here.
