Great location. Fantastic old pub with the friendliest staff ever. Best pub food we’ve tasted in 50 years of travelling, better in fact than most restaurants we’ve eaten in. The pub welcomes dogs and even had a dog menu!

The room was large, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated (ironboard and iron were provided) the bathroom very clean and plenty of hot water. Beautiful linen both in the room and bathroom. The room has a kettle and all you need to have something warm to drink. Breakfast is very good, served at the table (no buffet), with various choices between savoury or sweet. The pub and restaurant are amazing, the food is really good and the service very kind. We've been here in the first days of January and the Christmas decorations that were still on made everything magical.
