This is a charming place. The bedrooms are perfect. Big bed, face flannels, dressing gowns, all lovely personal touches. It is very quiet and has beautiful garden with seats. Close to Dorking which is a great little shopping town. Staff were kind and friendly.

Castle Mill is an original B&B with an authentic setting and, to our surprise, a modern and tastefully decorated interior. The beds are very comfortable and contribute to a good night's sleep. The breakfast included in the price is fresh and healthy. The beautiful garden fits perfectly into this extremely beautiful region of Surrey. For us it was a perfect starting point to visit Hampstead Palace and Windsor Castle. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including the pub right next door. Rick and Peta are very pleasant and interesting hosts!

The staff, the family, were very welcoming, even if they were not there very often. Spotless clean, excellent breakfast and very quiet. The house is full of loving memories spanning over many generations. The house breathes this love.

The Plough Inn in Coldharbour enjoys a pretty location in acres of National Trust woodland, around 4 miles from Dorking.

The room was really nice, clean and smelled good. There was a smart TV in the room. We had dinner and breakfast in the pub downstairs where there were some toys and games for the littles ones and the possibility to order a smaller fish and chips. Very friendly staff.

A wonderful stay :-) We have taken home a sweet memory of our time at Robin’s house. His attention to every detail, his recommendations, and his cooking made for a very special few days. His cuisine is excellent—breakfast on the terrace surrounded by nature with a delicious and complete English breakfast to start the day, and a delightful dinner with home-grown ingredients by candlelight left us impressed. We selected The Running Horses for our stay primarily because of its long history--over 400 years--as an inn. It was a great experience from start to finish. The facility was wonderful, authentic, and run like clockwork. It was only on our last day that we learned the inn is the 2023 winner of the National Pub & Bar of the Year Awards, and it shows from the professional staff, to the delicious and locally-sourced food and drink, and especially the welcoming atmosphere. Hopefully, we can return for another visit!
