It was perfect. Lovely people that did their best to allow us to have a pleasent stay. We have been looking for some peace and quiet in a proper welsh country house. The house is as traditional as it can get, but not missing out any of the modern ameneties. You can tell it is well maintained. Also everything was very clean. Slept like rocks in the beds and enjoyed the flat and salon. Just 10 min scenic walk and you end up in Druid Inn Pub thats serves good food (call for table before). I really recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at Park View and were pleasantly surprised at what an attractive place Chester is. The property is centrally located and our host George showed us to safe, private parking just around the corner although it may be a little tight for large vehicles. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, the room compact but comfortable and quiet with the windows closed. The bathroom is a generous size with a lovely shower. George provides lots of little extras that should cover most things you may forget to pack, all premium brands. The thing that made all the difference was our characterful host George. He really does try his utmost to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. His varied breakfasts were large and cooked to perfection using first class ingredients, no expense spared. Smoked salmon came up in one of our conversations and immediately offered for the following day's serving. I mentioned our wedding anniversary at booking and that led to an unexpected bottle of bubbly on ice upon our arrival and a card. Thoughtful touches abound with George, he's clearly driven by the desire to please and not by profit. His recommendations for local places to eat are well judged and can be relied upon. All in all, a comfortable, memorable stay with an excellent host that made us smile.

Great central location - also close to a big parking nearby; very convenient! Top notch english breakfast. Lovely & cozy design of the rooms. Charming pub with amazing atmosphere and a good cask beer selection. Lovely team who made our stay warm and prepared a nice surprise for my wife's birthday. Glad we were able to book it.

First of all I must mention that the people running the hotel were so nice, I had some lovely conversations with them, super friendly and they were quite helpful with the things I needed. Secondly the place was quite worth it for the money, the room had everything you need, the bed was very comfortable and there was an amazing English breakfast being served everyday. There is an enjoyable trip with ferry that gets you to Liverpool in about 10-15 mins, and there are also bus connections that run every 20-30 mins. From my room, there was a nice view to Liverpool. I'd highly recommend it.
