Clare was very lovely and welcoming. The rooms and house are absolutely gorgeous. Perfect location and a lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend for walkers completing the Penine Way. A bit of well earned luxury after a very long walk.

Spotless room, attention to detail everywhere. Lovely breakfast, and .. the Snooker room! What should I say - not many B&Bs to be found with this high standard. Our only mistake was, as before, to not have stayed more nights. Thanks Janet & Allan, it's always a pleasure to be at your place. A loving family runs this place. You won’t find a more accommodating and truly kind host than Sonny - always eager to secure your comfort or solve any matters of concern. There’s Stewart clan here and the place is beautifully dressed in antique collections. Michael (Sr.) is the chef and makes tasty dinners & yummy breakfasts. Both breakfast and dining rooms are spacious with lovely views of the yard. And yes, I got my cream for coffee and cereal! The twin room was compact, clean and quiet after the local crows finished their morning chat. Selkirk and surroundings have a lot to offer sightseers. Beautiful country. Sonny, you are a special person and Michael, Sr., thank you for sharing stories and making us feel special with your and Sonny’s gifts. Great and luxurious stay. Great and very big room and bathroom. You can read one of the many books available in the house or enjoy the gardens. Breakfast was excellent and organised as such that you can connect with other guests.
