The staff at the Inn were very friendly and made it a welcoming environment on arrival. It was cosy, comfortable and well located (not too far from Dartmoor National Park) in a beautiful area . It was convenient to have access to the restaurant (worth booking a dinner reservation in advance as advised). Parking was readily available (paid lot across the road if you don’t want to park in the street). The complimentary breakfast was a nice addition. Our room was well represented by the photos.

We stayed New Years Eve. We had booked a room and advised we were vegan. We had the most fantastic meal, so many courses, such great flavours. The chef asked what sort of food we liked in advance and the meal was superb. We will be back. The staff team were attentive and very nice. We felt well looked after.

The location was amazing, in the middle of meadows with lovely animals. Peacocks were the best companions ever! Great breakfasts, clean and spacious room and bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Very peaceful place for people who seek for relax. The best stay of our whole journey.

Lovely welcome from Wendy and Peter. The accommodation was warm and inviting. Wonderful views from the bedroom window and the breakfast room. Lovely quiet area in the middle of the countryside. Delicious continental breakfast. We would thoroughly recommend it.

A wonderful B&B in the centre of Tavistock. Lovingly furnished and caring hosts. Very nice location to explore Dartmoor and Tavistock. Nice garden and parking for free is also an asset.

Duchy House is a real beauty! Beautiful rooms, really nice people, there's even a real coffeemaschine in the room! Breakfast is brilliant and so is the lunchpack you can order. The pub nearby serves excellent food. It' s easy to get anywhere in Dartmoor (you do need a car).
