The quality and facilities of the room (we had the twin room) were exceptional - better than many 5-star hotels. Breakfast was super - all freshly cooked, and more than ample. Host Dick was very genial and helpful. We had booked for two days, then found we needed three days - no problem.

Very nice room. Small but very practical. Everything very clean. Helpful, friendly staff. Good beer and the fish & chips were exceptionally good. The beer tasted very good and the atmosphere in the pub was very good. Sure that evening Wales won against England in rugby. Thanks for the great experience.

Lovely warm welcome. Our room had been upgraded, too. Great staff, friendly atmosphere. Fantastic food! The best salmon I'd had in a very long time. Good location near centre but very quiet.

Excellent last minute booking from first accommodation that was awful. I managed to get a room with a double and single bed. The room was very clean and comfortable. All the staff were super friendly. Great value for money with breakfast included location perfect for Elan Valley.

Great place to stay when traveling through Wales. The location itself offers nice views, but there is nothing much to visit. Not that you need to, since the in house dinner is great. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom has been called tiny in some other reviews, but it was no problem. Just don't expect to share the bathroom. Lots of parking available. Owner loves to chat which was nice.

In the centre of Builth Wells, Bronwye Guest House is a 4-star rated bed and breakfast on the route of the Wye Valley Walk.

From arrival Lynda and Larnie were wonderful hosts. The B&B is spotless and run on alot of hard work and love of making guests feel cared for during their stay. We booked 3 rooms for our family stay and they had everything one would expect, and more. The breakfast options were vast and catered for all dietary requirements. Our 2 vegan breakfasts were immense, piping hot and homemade bread which set us all up for the day.
