A beautiful hotel/hostel right by the beach with incredible views. A beautiful place to stay when visiting Corfu. The family who run it are so kind and helpful. It is at the bottom of a very steep hill but they provide a shuttle if you are without a vehicle.

The view is amazing! Room is very clean, AC works perfectly. And Maria is such a helpful and amazing host. Minus point it’s very up the hill but the view is worth it.

Absolutely everything that you might need for a comfort stay - small kitchen with all facilities, comfortable beds, private terrace, two balconies, sunbeds and even mosquito nets for each window!!! Very very nice place to stay near the sea 🙂

My stay at Katafygio was fantastic from the first moment; Maria is marvellous and puts a lot of care both in the rooms as well as the restaurant. I stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment of it. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant multiple times and adored the home cooked meals. Maria went out of her way multiple times to make something different for my diet, and even surprised me a few times! As for the room, it was quite big and I appreciated the tall shower and very comfortable bed. I’m still dreaming of her feta, zucchini fritters, cakes and homemade jams. If I ever return to Corfu, this will be my first stop!

It's really good location - about 15 minutes walk to nearest shop in both directions, +-10 minutes to the beach, and to some restaurants. I'd recommend getting a car anyway(for me it's obligatory in Corfu as there are no other way to communicate, or its really limited). Katia and her family are great people, very welcoming and helpfull! You can ask them anything. Everything was clean, we have gotten fresh towels, there's AC, place to park your car, place to sit outside, and even small kitchen fully equiped if you want to make any meal. PS.: Katia's garden looks lovely!
